Fire Station 34 is located on Avenida de los Arboles at Moorpark Road and serves the northern portion of Thousand Oaks and the east end of the Santa Rosa Valley. In 2002, the firefighter position was upgraded to Paramedic/Firefighter and Engine 34 became the department’s first Medic/Engine. The Arboles Fire Station is staffed daily by 3 firefighters and houses Medic/Engine 34; Reserve Engine 134; and Utility 34.

Construction of new Fire Station 34 is underway, located on Avenida de los Arboles and Mountclef Blvd. in Thousand Oaks. The building design includes two pull-through engine bays, seven dorms, two offices, a kitchen and dining area, fitness and day room, four restrooms, and storage building. Current staffing is a single engine crew with three firefighters. The building is designed for two engines if additional service is needed to support the community members of Thousand Oaks.
