Chief Chad Cook Receives Good Government Award

On Thursday, January 25th, Support Services Bureau Chief, Chad Cook was awarded the Good Government Award at the County of Ventura’s Management Council Awards luncheon.

Chief Cook was honored by County Executive Officer, Mike Powers, on account of agency collaboration for planning and action during the Thomas and Woolsey fires.

One of the primary objectives of the Management Council is to recognize what’s good in government – to celebrate successes, recognize qualities that epitomize excellent public service, and promote service within our community. Way to go, Chief Cook!
