Station 33 History

Fire Station 33 sits on the banks of Lake Sherwood and serves Hidden Valley and the southern reaches of the Westlake Village area of Thousand Oaks. Built in 1949, the Lake Sherwood Fire Station has been an integral part of that community serving as a center for many events.  Today, the station could well be known as the “Hollywood” station because of all the filming in Hidden Valley and the number of celebrities calling Hidden Valley home.  Station 33 is staffed daily by three firefighters and houses Engine 33, Brush Engine 333, and Patrol 33.
